Anatomical Configuration
Rigid, standard grackle bridles concentrate high pressure on the atlanto-occipital joint at the poll and compress the sensitive cranial nerves running along the jaw and cheekbones. The Freedom Grackle Bridle features a contoured headpiece that clears the ears, while a removable throatlash relieves jaw restriction under the chin. The grackle's padded sheepskin disc sitting high on the nasal bone prevents compression of the delicate nasal cartilage.
