The drop noseband is highly effective for horses that cross their jaw, but rigid, single-buckle designs can apply harsh, concentrated pressure on the nasal bone and pinch the chin groove. The Classic Drop Noseband features double buckle adjustments at both the front and back, allowing the handler to balance the pressure symmetrically. This prevents the noseband from twisting and clears the sensitive infraorbital nerve.

💡 Pro-Tip: Fit the front padded strap of the drop noseband approximately four finger-widths above the nostrils, ensuring it rests on the solid nasal bone rather than the soft cartilage. Tighten the chin strap so that you can easily slide one to two fingers flat under the front of the noseband.
