Anatomical Configuration
The browband plays a critical role in anchoring the bridle. If a browband is too short, it pulls the headpiece forward directly into the highly sensitive area behind the ears, causing discomfort at the poll and pinching the auricular nerves. The Perfect Fit Plaited Browband is padded to cushion the forehead and sized to sit comfortably flat, keeping the headpiece vertically aligned behind the ears to encourage a relaxed poll.
