Hand-crafted from our signature, vegetable-tanned EcoLeather and deeply hand-conditioned with EcoRider's natural beeswax formula, this crupper features a softly padded dock. Built for high load durability, the soft leather dock is exceptionally gentle against the sensitive tail area, avoiding friction, rubs, and skin irritation. Highly adjustable on both sides, it can attach directly to your saddle's D-rings or run cleanly in conjunction with our EcoRider Crupper T saddle attachment.

Anatomical Configuration
On ponies and round-barreled horses, saddles are highly prone to sliding forward onto the shoulder blades, blocking natural elbow clearance and placing weight directly on the wither. A crupper prevents this slip, but standard stiff, dry leather crupper docks can cause severe rubs and friction sores under the tail. The EcoRider Crupper features a softly padded, flexible dock that cushions this high-movement zone, protecting the sensitive tail dock while stabilizing the saddle.

💡 Pro-Tip: Fit the crupper so that it rests comfortably flat under the horse's tail dock. Do not buckle it too tightly; there should be comfortable space to slide a hand flat under the strap on the horse's rump when standing.
