The Galway v2.0 addresses this with an anatomic headpiece featuring a Raised Mane Channel that prevents the leather from pressing directly onto the cervical spine. The dynamic double cheek padding cushions the facial bones and the infraorbital nerve, while the sheepskin crossover pad sitting high on the nasal bone keeps breathing airways completely clear.

💡 Pro-Tip: Ensure the central grackle sheepskin pad sits centered on the flat, upper part of the horse's nasal bone, well above the sensitive nasal cartilage. The cheek buckles should sit high enough to avoid pinching the cheekbones or pushing the cheek lining inward against the outer teeth.
